WorkFlow processing

Post by Zeek »

Hi All,

I am experiencing TX and have some workflow problem when I execute maps and what map need to read and write.

How doe's the flow work ?

If I have 2 input cards (IC) and 2 output cards (OC), does TX run IC1, OC1, IC2, OC2 or doe's it run IC1, IC2 then OC1, OC2 ????

Thanks

Zeek, you may want to register over at ADN and post your TX questions there as well. There is a huge Server and PX support group here, but not alot of TX peoples. There seems to be more support for it over there right now.

It depends on what you have your FetchAS set in the input card.
If it's Integral then you process IP1, IP2, OP1, OP2.If you set FetchAs to Burst then it processes the number of records specified in the burst for the input card with the burst, all the records for input with integral, OP1,OP2 and then repeats for input burst card (doesn't reread data for integral card) until all the records are processed.
