Job Schedules not in Export file.

Post by 1stpoint »

When I import a scheduled job/batch into a project, the schedule portion disappears. I would like to retain that information and have DataStage not overwrite the schedule information.

This surprises me, as the schedule information seems to be stored separately from the job. At least, that's how I recall it working from a UNIX server - the schedules are in crontab and looked for by the Director each time you check the 'Schedule' view based on the current user.

Are you on Windows?

Craig is correct. You could do it by backing up the crontab entries ans restoring them. That is only on the UNIX side. You still have at commands that you may miss.
