Configration File

Hi,,Can any one tell me how to allocate space using Configuration File?
What is the format and how to use it. What are the parameters required for that?
Can u explain me in detail!

The DataStage Manager manual is where the configuration file is described in detail.

For each logical processing node you can configure
  • one or more directories for temporary storage

    one or more directories for permanent storage (e.g. file sets)

You cannot allocate space in a configuration file. You can use the resource disk or scratch disks which have high volume in them. Ask you unix administrator to let you know which directories have hugh disk space in them and you can use that path in your configuration file
