QUIESCE EXCLUSIVE STATE

Post by Marley777 »

Hello has anyone ever had to deal with a QUIESCE EXCLUSIVE STATE error? We aborted a job but locks were not released. Also does anyone know at what point Datastage ask db2 to apply the exclusive lock? If a load goes belly up and a lock is still out there, who has authority to realease lock?

Your help is greatly appreciated.

I would guess the DB2 user you are using plus other users that have been given extra priviliges, you'll have to talk to you DB2 DBA to know who else can perform this function.
