DataStage 7 on Windows 2003

Hi Guys
OS info: windows server 2003, enterprise edition computer: Intel p3 1.2mhz
500mb ram
Application: DataStage: 7
1. Get error: Failed to connect to host (The connection is broken (81002))
2. Stop and restart the Ascential services and get error: engine resource
service failed to start service the service did not respond to the start or
control request in timely fashion (win32 error code 1053)
telnet service: failed to start service the dependency service or group
failed to start (win32 error code 1068)

While I'm busy editing a job in designer I frequently "loose the connection
to the server". I can compile and run jobs as well, but the connection
problem to the server keeps on occurring. I set the 'Do not timeout' option
in the administrator and the problem persists. If I work directly on the
server (client is loaded on the server), also loose the connection.

Does anyone out there have these problems with Windows 2003? Is this perhaps
a service conflict?
