Informix DateTime

We are having a problem when passing timestamp in the format (YYYY-MM-DD
HH:MM:SS.FF) to informix through the informix client plug-in, we get the error that there is a datetime overflow.

Is there a way to look at the value that is being passed to Informix. Is there trick to setting up the Meta Data. We have tried to change the length to 22 with a scale of 2 and display of 22, length of 25 scale 5 and display 25, length of 22 scale of 0 and display of 22. We did not have any success with these. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get around this problem.
