FastTrack -- location of isx files

Post by vijaydasari »

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to see all .isx files imported into fast track. is there any folder I can locate on server side / client side.

My objective for looking this information is if some of the assets already imported, I don't want to redo again instead I will append assets which are not there.

Please let me know.

Well, the tool is not made the way you envision it.

An ISX file can be located anywhere during it's load process.
The contents once loaded into the tool, are no longer dependent upon the presence of that isx load file, meaning you can deleted it.

The content of your DataStage repository COULD contain the same job that is in your ISX file, but it could be an OLDER version of that job. It could technically be a newer version to for that matter.

So... your question is a little misleading since there are some very valid reasons why you would want to reload an existing asset.
