DataStage® Release: 8x
Job Type: Parallel
OS: Windows
Hello
I have a problem with the DSAppWatcher.
It seems that it can't connect to the dsodb anymore.
I find those errors
Code:

 2018-10-18 16:32:10,037 ERROR com.ibm.datastage.runtime.common.db.DBConnector.connect(DBConnector.java:148) - Error connecting to the database, connector: jdbc:db2://localhost:50000/DSODB
com.ibm.db2.jcc.am.oo: [jcc][t4][2030][11211][3.58.135] Une erreur de communication est survenue lors des opérations effectuées sur le socket sous-jacent de la connexion, le flux d'entrée du socket
ou le flux de sortie du socket.  Emplacement de l'erreur : Reply.fill() - socketInputStream.read (-1).  Message : Read timed out. ERRORCODE=-4499, SQLSTATE=08001

Unable to connect to the DSODB database APE-00001

I can connect to DSOB by Squirrel.
The DSODB is here when i do a db2 list db directory.
The DSAppWatcher.sh -test failed with
c:\TEMP>C:\IBM\InformationServer\Server\DSODB\bin\DSAppWatcher.sh -test
DSODB is turned ON in the DSODBConfig.cfg file.
Link Monitoring is OFF.
Job Run Usage is ON.
Resource Monitoring is ON.
Checking Database Connection:
Successfully loaded the database driver.
Error: Unable to connect to the database: jdbc:db2://localhost:50000/DSODB
Please check the URL property in the DSODBConnect.cfg file.
See log file: AppWatcher-20181018165435631.log
Test Failed.

The file DSODBConnect.cfg didn't change since 2013.
Thank you.

That the database is huge may give some clue as to why the connection is reporting a timeout - it may be that the connection succeeds but there is not enough time to enumerate all the objects in the d ...
