Hello
I have a varchar(20) that I have to change to a varchar(200). This is across multiple stages in a job and multiple jobs.
I only have Datastage (No metadata workbench etc). Is there some way to do this (simply)?
Thanks

The new Data Flow Designer in version 11.7 features automatic propagation of metadata changes through a job design.
Otherwise you're probably looking at modifying an export file and importing the result.

Thanks Ray.
I can't see your full response, but I assume that you are saying to modify the dsx file. I thought I'd tried this before but never see the columns in the DSX file.
Anyway, maybe I can get the IT department to upgrade to 11.7
