Is Squirrel a JDBC client? If not, try using any JDBC client (even the Information Analyzer client connection) to test the URL.

Has anything about DSODB changed since DSODBConnect.cfg was last edited (in particular the password)? Has DSODBConfig.cfg been changed?

I use squirrel with this url jdbc:db2://XXXX:50000/dsodb where XXXX replace localhost.
For me Nothing change about DSODB bu It's a bit long to connect to it.
The base is hudge ...

That the database is huge may give some clue as to why the connection is reporting a timeout - it may be that the connection succeeds but there is not enough time to enumerate all the objects in the database.

Involve your official support provider, who may be able to provide workaround(s).
