DataStage® Release: 11x
Job Type: Server
OS: Windows
Hi everyone,
I am attempting to troubleshoot an issue here. I have some jobs looking to read and write some files in a UNC share. It seems that the jobs we run are using a local user account on our Engine servers. Is it possible to change the jobs to use a domain specified user? From all the documentation I've seen all the DataStage users are linked to a local admin account on the engine server, this account is the one that is used when running/scheduling jobs.

Research "engine credentials".

Thanks Ray,
That did give me a lot of good information! I was able to resolve this by linking our accounts to an appropriate domain\user account instead of the local machine account. Seems to be working just fine now.
