Hi,

Is it possible to identify or extract information about IIS Roles of a particular user through Rest API?

I know we could extract most of the IGC information through Rest API, but I was wondering how we could extract user roles through Rest API.

Search option with "user" types returns only user information but not the roles the user has.

Please advise what other possible ways I could extract user information along with roles defined?

Hi metadatamen,

I'm not sure about Rest api, but you can do this from IIS console.
You can create a report for each type of user under Reporting and run the report. A detailed file will be created depending your file type selection in the report.

Also you can schedule this reports and view the report from console it self or you can pull it from /tmp for linux based versions.

below is where you can create the report.

IIS console -> Reporting -> Reporting Template -> Administration -> security
