Changing Project Pathname

Post by gayathrisivakumar »

Hi ,

I have my DS project created under /opt/IBM/InformationServer/Server/Projects. Can someone please tell me how to move the project from this folder to a different folder?

Thanks in Advance

As far as I.know you can not change the default path for DataStage projects after the tool install.

If you are trying to avoid the main file system filling up due to the increasing number of jobs and such, just add a new file system with enough cushion space for future projects and set the mount point on the Projects directory ...

Hope this help

Backup/export the project, delete it, add it in the new path, restore/import.

Mount point has been created. I also wanted to know if there is any other way other than Backup-delete-restore.

Appreciate both your input. Thank you.
