When sending an XML Output stage document to a web services stage, on the other end the input message is being received as HTML Encoded. I'm guessing if my input message wasn't an XML doc then it wouldn't HTML encode it.
In my web service client the input message column is defined as SQL Datatype: Varchar. What does the data element column do in datastage, I've never had a need of using it before?
