Split a MT940 File

Formally known as "Mercator Inside Integrator 6.7", DataStage TX enables high-volume, complex transactions without the need for additional coding.

Split a MT940 File

Post by ushasribandaru »

Hi all,

Please advice how to split MT940 message if the message size is more than some 1000 characters and need to take care of opening and closing balaces.

Tag:60F: Opening balance
Tag:62F: closing balance
Tag61: will have the Transaction Amount

Caliculation is: Opening Blance + or - Transaction amount = closing balance

EX: Amount under tag 61 is CD4,90N then it Credit amount
then 137264,29+4,90=137269,19
if it's DD28,00 then it is debit amount.

Please confirm whether you are using WebSphere Transformation Extender or DataStage and, in either case, the exact version number.
