display in home page

Hi Roy

I feel the 'display' should show 30000 member strong instead of 20000 member strong

Technically, though, "over 20000" remains correct. The actual number can be found on the right hand side of the page (you may need to scroll down).

Perhaps they could make it "nearly 50000".

It is, rounded to the nearest 50000.

Was I hallucinating or did I see some kind of "30,000" image on the home page the other day? It was kind of... ugly... but I thought that might be because we're stuck with IE6 here. And now it's as if it never existed. :?

Hi,
I guess Dennis was trying to see how it looks in the home web page
but since you said it was kinda ugly that explains why it went down.
I guess it didn't turn good enough when inside the home page :(
(never seen it myself in an actual web page)

Having viewed the source of the home page it would appear to be a simple fix IF the new figure didn't need to be a short Shockwave movie. Someone could create a static picture and replace the SWF references in the HTML with an IMG reference to that picture. Seems to me 'twould not be difficult for someone with access to the server to achieve.
