What are new features in wtx 8.1 than in mercator 6.7

Can any one list the advantages in wtx 8.1 than in mercator 6.7.?

Since we are migrating from 6.7 to 8.1 will there be any cirtical issues to be consider while migrating.

Please list it out from your experience.

A cautionary note: Analyze/Build every type tree and source map. When you run it in 8.1; take your output file and compare it to the same output file that was produced in 6.7
Look carefully at any numeric fields; especially those that are left justified or right justified or have a 'supposed' decimal position.

6.7.1 maps/typetrees are supposed to be backward compatible with 8.1
