hello,

Is there any way to enable NLS after datastage has been installed?

You can disable NLS after DataStage has been installed if you chose to install that option at the time of the original installation. However, if you chose to not install the NLS option when you installed DataStage, you'll need to uninstall DataStage completely and then reinstall everything, this time choosing the NLS option.

Probably not the answer you were hoping for...

Set NLSMODE to 0 in $DSHOME/uvconfig using any text editor.
Make sure nothing is happening. Stop DataStage. uv -admin -stop
Regenerate the shared memory segment. cd $DSHOME ; bin/uvregen
Start DataStage. uv -admin -start
