Or for a small number of jobs, double-click on the job in Director and copy/paste from the dialog box. Or check out this post for a way to capture output from a UniVerse query.

Here Im using a RETRIEVE query ( from The Administrator Command Prompt) or from UV shell to list all jobs in a particular category

Code: Select all

LIST DS_JOBS NAME FMT"50L" CATEGORY FMT"20" WITH CATEGORY="KEYS" ID.SUP
Im limiting the display width of Job Name to 50 Characters and Category to 20 Characters, My Category is called KEYS. With a bit of imagination and RETRIEVE , you can do a better job i guess!

If you can use the UVSH from operating system shell to do this , you have a better chance of being able to copy or redirect the output to a file.

Or go to DS Director, to that category, print the "Current Category" to a File. Tweak the output with an text edition.
