Need DataStage users feedback

DataStage users

I need your help, please.

We are currently in process of evaluating different ETL tools. DataStage is one of the product we will be evaluating. It would be of a great help if some of the users of DataStage can provide their opinion about the tool and its capabilities. I have read the information available on the Informix/Ardent Software website.

In breif, ETL tool should handle the following requirements:
* Support various data formats. We have about 4500 data contributors
that sends us data in various data formats (flat files, complex flat files, Mainframe files, VSAM, XML ...)
* Functionality (GUI, pre-build transformation & validation functions,
Hash/look-up tables, Logging, Security, Versioning, logic sharing...)
* Ability to call external routines written in C/C++ or Java (to call
data cleansing tools such as Vality, Code1 or other custom validation
routines)
* Performance (able to load few million records from single source,
bulk loads ...)

We are mainly interested in tools performance, ease of use and ability to handle various file formats.
