Csv File issue

Hi,

I have an issue with .csv file generated from DS parallel job. It doesn't show all the columns in the file if I bring that file to the windows folder but All columns in a single column A. Is this behavior common? When I open the file with notepad++/Datastage it does show all the columns. Is there any setting required to view all the columns in .csv when opening in excel outside the datastage?

Are you sure you are not getting trapped with the age old unix file viewing in a Windows environment (CR/LF issue) ?

When generating from unix, try this: unix2dos <filename>

You are viewing it correctly in Notepad++ because that program understands that it is a unix file and formats the output (lines) correctly.
