We are in the requirement gathering phase and creating Technical design document, while designing the Job Restartability we need to include data clean strategy for partial load in case of job failure.
We will use ODBC connector stage to connect to Oracle db(as per cleint), so while loading data using ODBC connector stage, can we opt for Record Count=0 keeping array size to a default value? Will Record count=0 ensure that no data will commit to the database in case job failed?
But you may have to get on good terms with your DBA, because that might results in some quite sizeable transactions!
