Job Type: Parallel
OS: Unix
HI

I am using Hierarchy stage .For null data I am getting different XML output .

for some records <abc></abc> and other </abc> .

I know both are equal .I want to know how datastage decide which one.

is it controlled by XSD.if so how can ?

Not sure if or how the hierarchical stage decides. In the xmloutput stage you have a choice. Either way, it doesnt matter. Both are the same. You might want to check to see if validation is on. ...
