Order of columns in Table definitions

Post by skathaitrooney »

Hello Experts,
I have a slight problem with the table definitions that i have imported from the database. When i view the columns in the table definition itself, the order is fine. But when i try to import it into a Netezza connector, the order of the columns completely randomizes.
Does anyone know about this? I tried to do the same with another table definition but this time the order was good after the import.

I have tried to re-import the table definition multiple time without any luck..

Anyone in a similar situation ?

Does it really matter, affect anything? Other than you, of course.

Do you notice any pattern, such as all the VarChar columns moved to the end?
