Reading SAS dataset(sas7bdat format)using SAS Parallel DS

Post by saraswati »

I have a SAS dataset in sas7bdat format.

I want to read this SAS dataset using SAS Parallel Dataset stage.

When I am trying to view the data then I am getting the following error:

Error executing View Data command:##E IIS-DSEE-TOSE-00035 20:14:49(006) <APT_SasImport> Error when checking composite operator: File /TSYS/NameAdd.sas7bdat is not a Parallel SAS data set.

Please advise how I can read this SAS dataset which is sas7bdat format using datastage.

There are not a lot of SAS related postings here, especially lately. You may need to hit up your official support provider for this.

Do an exact search here for sas7bdat and see if that helps.

I found four... and if this one "didn't help" you'd have to tell us why it didn't. No-one can help you if you don't explain your problem. What did you try? What error messages are you getting? Do you have SAS installed on the ETL server?
