I need to connect an asset with another asset but not with a term is possible this?

If you have 11.5, you can create a custom attribute of the "relationship" type. This lets you create your own named relationships between assets of different types, not only for terms to assets.

...if you are on a much older release, you could establish a "lineage" relationship between assets that support lineage, using Extension Mappings.....or a flow lineage relationship if you are on at least 11.3, using the OpenIGC flow xml specification.

In 8.7, the tooling for the Business Glossary and the Metadata Workbench are still separate. Asset to Asset relationships in the Metadata Workbench can be established via "Extension Mapping Doc ...

Is there any way to create a category within a mappings relationship? Did I say for example put an asset native application in between 2 categories and then several services?
