0/0/0000 date in Sybase ASE

Post by jweir »

Hello all,

I am having trouble with extracting out a record in the Sybase ASE database with a date format of "0/0/0000". When the record is extracting or viewed inside the stage, it comes out as ";877" which is obviously not a valid date format.

The job format I have is just taking the table and using RCP to load into Oracle, so I cannot explicitly convert the year.

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

Sorry but what would you want it converted it to in Oracle? There was no year zero.

So there is no way to load that into Oracle the way the record is currently. Got it.

Do you know why the record shows as ";887"?

Not really... what stage are you using to view it?
