Hierarchical data stage --> assembly editor --> flash

Post by hitmanthesilentassasin »

Hi,

I have just installed IIS 11.5.0.1, when I am trying to access the assembly editor it is throwing me error

Code: Select all

"Flash Player Error. This application requires an Adobe Flash Player ActiveX control of version 10 or later.Get Flash "
I tried installing flash player version 26 on Internet explorer, it says the latest player is already installed.

I have also reduced the internet explorer securtiy to medium.

Can anyone pointout how to resolve this issue? can the browser be changed to mozilla firefox or chorme?

Many Thanks

I dont believe you can change the browser engine to FF or Chrome.

Perhaps try adding your InfoServer host to the list of trusted sites? Also i think in the Advanced Settings there is an option to enable ActiveX controls (though it might be enabled by default....)

The required version of Flash player is (precisely) 10.0.0.22.

Not 26.
