Post by raji33 »

Hi,

We have a situation where job went through fine in qa but was having issues in prod.so want to comare high level datastage limitations/settings/ configuration from datastage standpoint on server across all environments dev/sit/qa and prod to make sure there are no differences. Firstly what i can think of is dsenv file other then that are there any other files? Please share your thoughts.

Thanks

You have to explain the nature of the issues better, and we can better guide you.

Right... rather than jumping straight to your perceived solution, how about letting us know what your actual "issues" are first?

You can use ISA Lite to capture such things as system information, configuration settings, etc., but that tool does not have any inherent facility for effecting comparisons. But you could compare its output files from the systems using simple tools (like diff) to see what you can see.
