Information Analyzer jobs abort

Post by ArndW »

After applying Fixpack 1, the previously running IA jobs for doing column analysis now all abort with the error message

Code: Select all

main_program: Internal Error: (m_numOutputs == m_numOfSources + m_numOfRejects + m_numOfStatus): pxbridge.C: 5410
I haven't found any references at IBM or google, but perhaps someone here might have a pointer to where I could look...

We have applied Fixpack 1 in our environment and our Data Governance team is running column analysis without any problems. In addition to the Fixpack, we had to apply an additional patch. Not sure if the patch fixes the IA issue or not. The Patch # is JR55954.

thanks for the quick response!

I just discovered that I -ahem- neglected to install the new clients that go along with FP1 and I'm downloading those now and will check if that solves the problem with IA.

I'll look into that Patch as well,

Thanks!

Unfortunately neither using the correct client(s) nor installing any missing patches has resolved the problem...

It works now. We did the following between the time it didn't work and now:

- reinstalled the fixpack on the engine and services tiers
- correct the ulimit values in the system configuration on both tiers
- rebooted both servers

You definitely need to restart the services after resetting the ulimit for anything.
