Can user-named tables be used/accessed outside IA?

Post by truenorth »

Hi, all. I'm new to v11.x.

I'm wondering if user-named output tables - simple or advanced - can be accessed outside of IA. For example, can I query them in SQL? Or can they be used as an input table in DataStage?

Thanks in advance.

Yes.

These tables are in IADB (or whatever you have called your analysis database).

You can verify the table names from within IA using the Table Management feature.
