Help! Datastage File to Mainframe w/ Special Characters

Have a look under the NLS settings.

Another System Engineer we have that handle DS told me that NLS is not available for DS 8.0. We have another team that is now using DS 9.0+ so we looking at converting our application also. Our SEs are discussing it right now.

You could always upgrade. After all, version 8.0 is no longer supported by IBM.
