Copy Stage as the end Stage

Post by ag_ram »

Hello,

I have a strange scenario, where we have a copy stage as the end stage.

Could you please tell me, if there would be a problem like records being held in the memory. or any possible memory being held and not getting freed.

Usually we flush the unwanted records to /dev/null directory of our unix box.

Kindly let me know.

Regards

No, using the Copy stage as a sink is good practice - it "eats" (discards) records from its input.
