"Unread" Visual Cues

Unread items in DSXchange have orange icons.

When I connect via wireless modem, as soon as I have posted (posting.php), they are all reverted to "read" (blue) icons, whether or not I have read them, so I have to rely on timestamps to work out which ones remain unread.

On some wired connections, the reverse occurs - they remain orange even after I've read them, whether or not I invoke posting.php. But from other wired sites it's fine.

Curious, and frustrating, both ways.
