New line identifier

The input file is a CSV file. The problem is in unix the records are correctly placed in new line. But when the file is viewed through datastage, it does not identify the end of line and gives an error "TOO MANY COLUMNS".
Do let me know if there is a place in datastage server edition to define the line terminator.
