Problem using SCP command in Execute command Stage

Formally known as "Mercator Inside Integrator 6.7", DataStage TX enables high-volume, complex transactions without the need for additional coding.

Problem using SCP command in Execute command Stage

Post by rashmigaikwad2007 »

Hi All,

I want to execute the following command in Execute Command stage:

scp %GCDMPATH%/LCDM_GB_CDUUK_TNTB_M_MONTHLY.gz gcdm_liv@ukdwh-gleam-dstage.systems.uk.hsbc:/gcdm/prd/rawdata/feeds/

But im not able to do this as SCP commands asks for a password at run time.

I need to execute this command in a Sequence so im using a Excute Cmd stage.

Any other possible solution for this?

Regards,
Rashmi

lol - those names and paths look awfully familiar!

the scp format for you is user:password@node

Welcome aboard.
Rashmi, this forum is for questions relating to DataStage TX, not to DataStage parallel jobs. Please post your questions in an appropriate forum. Otherwise you risk getting replies about using TX maps and cards, which will serve only to confuse you.
