how to import flat file to quality stage

Hello,
Can someone help me out in how to import and export flat files or any other kind of files to and from quality stage...I am having a hard time regarding this...Ur help will be greatly appreciated...

The files are expected to be in the QS project's Data directory.

Are you talking about, how to create Datafile definition? Or something else. As Ray has pointed out the other datafiles will be there in the Projects Data Directory.
I haven't failed, I've found 10,000 ways that don't work.

What i meant is , Suppose i have a flat file and i have to do modifications using quality stage, how do i get that flat file to load in quality stage so that the modifications can be done...

Put them in the Data directory of the QualityStage project.

It's a directory. Put them there using cp or mv (on UNIX) or COPY (on Windows). Or any other file moving tools that you may have.
