The only safe answer is "it depends".

It depends on your career hopes and aspirations. It may provide valuable contacts and information sources if you are considering a career or business in Data Warehousing.

But there are associated costs. And are you considering such a career or business?

Well said !!! It certainly 'depends'.

They post very good analysis of IT news. It would be beneficial if you go along to some of the events. I was invited to a couple events for the Australian branch but couldn't spare the time.
