db2 adaptor 32k limit

Post by cloggieroo »

Hi all,
Trawling for information regarding the 32k limit imposed by the DB2 adaptor on z/os. Does anybody have any idea when/if Ascential is going to put in a fix for this problem? Also does anybody have a workaround suggestion for this problem. I have an idea of what I can do, but am just interested if anyone else has come up against this problem and successfully tackled it.

Nor sure about DB2 but there was a problem with DBLOOKUP/DBQUERY in 6.5.1 on Oracle. If the result of a dblookup was greater than 1024 kb or miltiples or 1024kb, the adapter only returned the portion in excess of that value. It was fixed in 6.5.2
