Compilation Error, RT_CONFIG

Hi,

I have recently upgraded from V6 to V7.1 and when I am trying to compile the DataStage jobs I get the following message

"Unable to write record DSJobName to file RT_CONFIG517" and
the Compile Status says "Compile failed to save intermediate results!"

Does this have to do anything with the permissions? Also, I am able to compile and run the jobs some times but not always. :(

I appreciate your help!

Sounds like permissions. Are you using the same user account as before? also check the umask settings in the ds.rc script.
