What exactly does 'In Memory Lookup' from Oracle Mean

Post questions here relative to DataStage Enterprise/PX Edition for such areas as Parallel job design, Parallel datasets, BuildOps, Wrappers, etc.

I'm guessing here that the entire selection from the Oracle table (minus WHERE clause) is loaded into a dataset. PX datasets are memory-resident. (The alternative would be to go to Oracle for each reference lookup.)
