In the same PX Job a using the Designer is faster than a using the Director.
The job is loading into Oracle with a Orace stage.
I tried to it a few times and had same results.
If you know, Please tell me why

Was it a large difference? What are your measures? Rows/second is not a reliable metric. Can you provide elapsed times? Total volume of data? Did you take any steps to eliminate the effects of cache? (For example, the second run will benefit greatly from operating system and disk controller cache).
It can depend also on which view you have open in Director. Log view is perhaps the worst, as it interrupts execution every few seconds to demand an update. (Monitor view is even worse!)
