Post by Toly_xiang »

Sorry,my English is not good.
From Case No - 405880*AUA
We test the patch of DB2 Load Stage in PX Job

When using DB2 Load Stage in PX Job, the sequence of columns in the
temperary file generated by DS automaticically is difference from the
sequence we define in Transform stage ,this happen SOMETIMES,not often
,
Example,
In the Transform stage ,A,B,C three column, but in the inpdata.dat of the DB2 Load Stage in PX Job, SOMETIMES may be C,B,A

that bother us
why
thanks.

Is the data being loaded to the wrong columns?

If not, then why does it bother you on how the ordering of columns are? Databases are flexible to the point where it does not matter which order the columns are, as long as the mapping between the columns and the Orchestrate's columns are properly done.

If it is, then please provide us with more details on how the DB2 stage is set up.
