Parallel Routine

Can anyone please tell how to write a Parallel Routine and Where exactly to be specified (i.e the library path) and how to call the routine in our PX jobs. Do we need to write a shell script for that one?

Check out the \Samples\TrxExternalFunctions folder in your client install media.

Hi

Parallel Routine like server routine only. From datastage manager you will create both server and parallel routines under routines folder. Shell script not needed use basic script for writing routine.

Also "working with parallel routines" in the Ascential Datastage Managers guide.
