Differences b/b PX 7.1 and PX 6.0

Hi,

What are differences in functionalties/ features b/n PX 7.1 and PX 6.0?

Is there any difference in the behaviour of similar jobs/ stages as well?

Also let me know if I can get a consolidated information abt this at some place.

Hi,

Both these are almos same. we can see some additional things in the new version. In Aggregator stage If we are going for any functions like Maximum value or minimum, mean standard deviation etc we can specify the decimal properties of the output there itself. once you opened the stage go to stage tab properies, you can see this. Like that you can see lot of miner changes and new things there in PX 7.1

Go through Ascential site itself, you can get lot of valuable knowledge.

Please find the diff between 6 and 7

1.Cannot do Cut/Copy of stages in 6.
2.If the size of numeric data is more than 10 digits then jobs
were aborting in 6. Not present in 7.
