Possible 7.5 GUI BUG

Post by bobyon »

I think I may have encountered what may be a bug in the GUI of DSEE 7.5.

It seems that when a link is dettached on the right (not connected to a stage), DS uses 95-98% CPU until that link is re-attached to a stage. It is very difficutl to re-attach the link because with DS using that much CPU, it leaves very little CPU available for even screen refreshes.

Two of us here have encountered the problem. I am using Win XP and my colleague is using Win 2000. I can recreate the problem quite easily.

Has anybody else encountered this anomaly? If so, then it may actually be a bug. If not, then maybe it is just something screwy in my configuration.

Thanks
Bob

I can't reproduce that with what I have tried.

What canvas/Stages are you using?
What Server platform are you connecting to?

Try making the detached link longer and pointing in the opposite direction.

I saw another problem in version 6.0.1 when the right side of a target stage touches the left side of the source stage.
