Unable to open Datasets

Hi,

There is a dataset created in DataStage 6.0.1 version and am trying to open the dataset and it is giving error message as follows.

Error executing View Data command:

##E TFDR 000002 17:56:18(000) <APT_CombinedOperatorController,0> Input buffer overrun; traversed 1,240 more bytes than present in record buffer

Tried changing the buffer size in the advanced tab of the dataset but it did not work.

Can i have the expert suggesstions to resolve the above problem.

Hi

Is the metadata the same for the input file and what u have defined in your DataSet Stage?

Are there any extra columns defined by u that are not present in the input.

Hi

delete the metadata of input dataset and reload it with output dataset.

Then drop the dataset the run the previous job again.
then run the above job which is given error
