Mapping Columns within a transformer

Within a transformer in a parallel job - we have mapped columns between the input and output links, however, some of the links are still marked red. The datatype and length are the same between the two columns. What are some of the typical reasons why the columns are invalid?

Hi,

If the derivations are marked in red then there is surely a problem with the derivation. Sometimes typing derivation will lead you into problems such as these. Pls use the Expression Editor. I think you should get over this problem.
