Hello there,
Recently I recognized that a job parameter name, that I expect to be case sensitive, seems to work correctly when being used in a SQL database stage (in my case it is Oracle) in a SQL statement. It seem to be recognized at run time correctly even if being used in different upper/lower letters.
While the DataStage "view data" function does NOT recognize the parameter (which I believe is correct) and gives an error because it can't resolve the parameter - the job runs correctly when started.
Anyone come across this "feature" as well...?
Regards
Klaus
p.s.: We were using a parallel job, Datastage 9.5
Are Job parameter names case sensitive?

Hi Klaus,
I have never seen this behaviour.
As far as I am aware, parameter names are always case sensitive.
Then again, I have very little experience in version 9.x.
