We are using the hierarchical stage to generate the XMLs.There are 5 XMLs getting generated by 5 separate jobs running in parallel.
When we ran the master sequencer last time (this sequencer runs these jobs in parallel) , the number of records generated were 0. But source tables had data. No error logs and no warnings.
When we re-ran the individual sequencer, XML file got generated. Any idea what could be the reason? Please advise and let me know if you need further details.
Note:We have never experienced such a scenario before in non-prod regions. The job could fail or throw warnings if XMLs were empty.

Not sure what it could be, but I would check your data very carefully to ensure validity, nulls, etc. going into the Stage. Possibly the xml created was invalid or not well formed for some reason in "that" set of rows, such as a particular data item that came along in a text field, or something similar.
